2023 NOVA Pumpkin Patch Guide

It's finally fall and the holidays are fast approaching! Looking for safe, family-friendly fall activities this October? Look no further! These outdoor pumpkin patches, fall markets and festivals around Northern Virginia are sure to make the whole family happy!

Cox Farms in Centreville

Cox Farms' Fall Festival is back this year! Admission includes giant slides, hayrides, farm animals, Cornundrum Cornfield Adventure, Imaginature Trail, Rope Swings, Kiddie Zone, Straw Tunnels, Themed Play Areas, Live Entertainment, Local Apples & Fresh Cider, Foamhenge, and a Patch Pumpkin to take home!

Open Thursday through Monday now through November 6th. Ticket prices vary based on the day you go, all tickets must be purchased online in advance. Click the link below for more information!

Pumpkin Village at Leesburg Animal Park

The Pumpkin Village will be open until November 6th. During weekdays, our hours will be 9:30am – 5:00pm. During weekends and holidays, they will be open from 9:30am to 6:00pm. Activities include a scavenger hunt, petting zoo, live music, hay rides, pony rides and more. Weekend guests will receive a complimentary Halloween cookie and apple cider. Some activities are an extra cost.

Weekday tickets can be purchased at the door, but tickets for the weekend must be purchased online and vary from $14-23 depending on the day. Click the link below for more information.

Burke Nursery Fall Market and Pumpkin Patch

Come enjoy the outdoors amid pumpkins and Halloween-inspired backdrops. A great place to choose the perfect pumpkins and take those special family pictures for all your Halloween Memories. Their Fall Farm Market will be stocked with pumpkins, apples, local honeys, jams, pickles, cider, Halloween decorations and more.

Open from October 1-31st from 9am-7pm (6pm on Sundays)

Pony Rides - Saturday & Sunday from 10am-5pm

Weekday tickets can be purchased at the door, but tickets for the weekend must be purchased online and vary from $17- depending on the day. Click the link below for more information.

Belvedere Plantation Fall Harvest Festival

Attractions include wagon ride to Pumpkin Patch for picking (pumpkins extra), Maize Maze, Fun Barn, Zippitydoo, Olde Barnyard, Swine Speedway, Pumpkin Mountain Slide, Jumping Pillow, Barrel Train, Pedal Tractors, Straw Jump, Trike Track, and Candy Cannon Show. Plenty of food is sold by Red Rooster Grill, Pizza Factory and more. The entire festival will be cashless this year, except for admissions.

Open through November 4th. Tickets can be purchased at the door, but are less expensive purchased online in advance. Tickets start at $19.95 and children under 2 are admitted free. Open dates and hours vary.

Reston Farm Garden Market Fall Festival

Open weekends in October for their annual Fall Festival. Enjoy lots of kid-friendly fall activities including a pumpkin moon bounce, bouncy slides, corn make, train rides & farm animals. They'll also have special guests including balloon artists, face painters and a caricature artist (additional purchase for these required) and multiple food vendors. The garden market will also be open for full-service business with no ticket required. A free pumpkin is included with each child's ticket. Open every weekend through October 29th from 10am-6pm.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for a discount.

Maryland Corn Maze

Open through November 5th from 10am-6pm with plenty of fall activities offered including an 8 acre corn maze filled with fun games to get you to the end, a new open-style flat bounce pad, petting zoo, hayrides, Halloween trivia, sling shots, pedal cards, giant Lincoln logs, bouncy animals, pedal tractors, straw mini-maze, photo ops in pumpkin land and so much more! Pony rides are offered for $6. Amazing fair food and Witches Brew available to purchase as well. The weekend of November 5th & 6th is bring your dog weekend!

Purchase tickets online in advance to ensure admission. Tickets start at $15 and vary depending on date, with military, first responder and large group discounts.
